Montana Neuroscience - Brain Injury: Diagnosis and Treatment Strategies

This conference, Brain Injury: Diagnosis and Treatment Strategies, is designed to examine current developments in the continuum of care for concussion/traumatic brain injury (TBI). Speakers will present information on early identification, proper diagnosis, and appropriate recommendations for the treatment of brain injury. Patient care through all phases of treatment from teh ER through post acute rehabilitation will be discussed, as well as unique issues specific to veterans. In addition, presentations will cover teh management of headaches and changes in executive skills.
The target audience for this conference is a wide range of medical professionals providing services to brain injured patients in Montana and Wyoming. Specifically, the conference will provide continuing medication education for physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, athletic trainers and speech-language pathologists who are involved in continuum of care of concussions/TVI within rural communities.
